PONTUS, Amasia. Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ (35mm, 24.37 g, 6h). Struck CY 138 (AD 135/6). Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Zeus Nikephorus enthroned left, holding vertical scepter; ЄTOYC PΛH (date) in exergue. RPC III 2913; RG –; Dalaison 39. Dark green patina with earthen highlights/deposits, a few scratches and marks, struck slightly off center. Near VF. Extremely rare, the authors of RPC cite two specimens, and none in CoinArchives.
